Our Visa Check Card is a combination card that works like a check card and an ATM card in one.
It can be used anywhere Visa is accepted or at any ATM showing the NYCE, Cirrus, or Co-op logos. All Co-op machines are surcharge-free to our members.
There is no annual fee and no fee to use the card for purchases. If you use the card at the ATM for cash, the normal $1.00 fee will apply (unless you're a VIP member) and possible surcharges may apply. You can withdraw up to $300 cash per day at the ATM.

When using the card for purchases, if you're asked if the card is a credit or debit, you must say credit to avoid the fee. It will in no way effect the way the transaction is deducted from your checking account. |

If you work for the City of Bridgeport or receive a pension check from the City of Bridgeport you can have a portion of your check deposited to your Credit Union account(s). If you would like your entire check deposited to your account, we can set you up for direct deposit. | |

 Direct Deposit enables you to have your entire paycheck, Social Security check or other recurring government check automatically deposited to your Credit Union account. This eliminates standing in line to deposit your check or worrying about your check being lost or stolen if you're out of town.
